Since June 2006 I have been teaching beginning bead making courses at Exemplar Glass, in Leominster, Herefordshire. Learn what you need to know to confidently turn on an oxygen-propane torch and melt soda glass to create beautiful beads. All materials will be supplied, along with a delicious two course lunch and tea breaks. There is lots of interesting glass work to see and a comprehensive archive of books to browse.

People come from all over the country to our classes and Leominster has several very nice B&B's within walking distance to the studio.

I make sure that you understand the basics of glass beadmaking as well as health and safety aspects of lampworking. You go home with a set of notes and a list of all the equipment you would need to set up your own studio. You can order everything you need from us and we provide a set-up help service.
